You wake up in the morning and find it hard to open your eyes. You wonder why your alarm hasn’t gone off. In a minute you remember: you’re on vacation! Your eyes pop open and you glance around you at your beautifully decorated hotel room, with loved ones sleeping nearby and close your eyes again to remember what you did yesterday and what lies in store for you again today.
You decided to come to the Water Park of America on the recommendation of a friend. With only a few days of vacation you didn’t want to travel too far or try to cram too much into the time. Coming to stay at the Bloomington Radisson hotel and spending time at the Water Park of America was the perfect solution!
Your thirteen year old son can’t get enough of the surf simulator. He’s never tried surfing in the ocean but he’s already mastered it in the surf wave pool. Your eleven year old daughter absolutely loves the slides. She has tried them all and excitedly goes from one to the next over and over. Your 7 year old son also loves the slide but his favorite is the family raft ride. So thrilling for the entire family! If you had a toddler you know he would go crazy for the little kid’s section of the park.
You are glad you decided to spend all three of your vacation days here. Even still, your kids will probably want to stay longer. The plan for today is to first head over to the mall of America for a few hours of shopping and then hit the Water Park of America again. In the evening after dinner you will visit the huge arcade for a game night.
Tomorrow you have to check out, but first you will take advantage of some of the benefits of staying in this hotel. The Water Park of America opens only to guests of the hotel an hour before it opens to the public. This gives you a good hour of play without worrying about lines or crowds! Plus, you got a good discount for booking the hotel and water park tickets together!
With the hotel location being so great you realize that there are still other things you didn’t get to do. There’s a zoo nearby you didn’t visit and you didn’t even spend as much time at the mall as you could have. You really could spend an entire month here!
After this vacation you are pretty sure you know what the kids will request for the next family holiday. It’s a good thing you have enjoyed yourself as much as they have because you find yourself wanting to come back as soon as possible, too!
