Have you ever spent time during the winter wishing summer would come? Of course you have! Who hasn’t? Those cold days and never ending nights can be torture for sun lovers. One great way to break up the monotony of the long winter is to find some activities to do that remind you of summer. One such activity is to visit a water park!
Water parks used to only be outdoor parks that were open during the summer months. In recent years the trend of indoor water parks has picked up its pace and there are an increasing number of these water parks throughout the country and even the world. They provide fun for people of all ages all year round.
We have all been to indoor swimming pools. It is fun especially when the weather is bad to slip into the pool in the warmth and security of the recreation center. There are diving boards and may even be a slide. Besides that, though, the main attraction is just the water for swimming in. Indoor water parks have a whole lot more than that to offer!

It is the perfect place for a family vacation and no matter what age your kids, whether teenagers, elementary age or toddlers they will for sure enjoy a visit to this great water park.
There are all kinds of slides, tube slides, body slides, speed slides, you name it. There is even a rafting ride you can go on with the whole family. It goes up to ten stories high and is over a mile long!! That’s what I call big adventure!
Catch a wave in the wave pool and surf or body surf on the waves. For a relaxing break you can float along the lazy river. If you really want a break from the water there is an arcade you can play games in and a snack bar you can eat at.
If you choose to stay in the hotel you will find a discount on water park admission. You will also enjoy some extra time in the park before it opens to the public! The first hour the water park is open only to hotel guests giving you a head start on the crowd and a chance to race through all your favorite slides without waiting in long lines.
The largest indoor water park provides bucket loads of water fun for everyone in your party whether you are there for a few days or just for one. Beware, though. You will definitely want to be coming back for more.
